On February 22, 2021 a joint seminar of the departments of Pharmacy Technology of Drugs and Industrial Technology of Drugs took place. The seminar was attended by 19 persons: heads and staff members of the departments.

The report “Development of the composition of chewing gums for the use in dentistry” was made by Assoc. Prof. of Industrial Technology of Drugs Department  Yuliia MASLII.

On the topic of the report there was a roundtable to discuss the issue of innovative solid dosage forms and prospects for the development of drugs for the treatment of a number of pathological conditions, including the use in dentistry. Most attention is paid to the peculiarities of chewing gum manufacturing, their composition development and the characteristics of modern excipients in the form of ready-mixes.
